In a speech about the International Quds Day, Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi also called for boycotting Israeli and American goods, Al-Mayadeen TV reported.
He said the International Quds Day is a significant occasion named by the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran Imam Khomeini (RA) that reminds Muslims of their responsibility toward the holy city of Quds (Jerusalem).
The International Quds Day will pave the way for the full and final liberation of Palestinian territories, he added.
Houthi also stressed the Yemeni nation’s steadfast support for Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The International Quds Day is a legacy of Imam Khomeini who designated the day in solidarity with Palestinians.
Since the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran, the International Quds Day has been held worldwide on the last Friday of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan.
This year, the International Quds Day falls on Friday, May 22.
